Job Title: Design & Sales Consultant

NYKB is seeking full-time goal driven, motivated, experienced kitchen and Bath Sales and Design Consultant. Looking for individual who can keep functionality in mind, at the same time as creating personal, unique, and innovative designs for upscale customers.

Candidate must possess:

Minimum 3 years designing and selling high-end kitchen, bath and custom cabinetry projects to sophisticated high end residential clientele.

Ability to handle all phases of multiple projects at one time, showing initiative, time, project and profit margin management skills.

Ability to develop and maintain account relationships; technical knowledge of cabinetry, including the installation process;.

Extensive knowledge in a wide range of related kitchen and bath products including plumbing, hardware and countertops in the remodeling and new construction field.

Experience in working with complicated, custom designs for all areas of the home yet is flexible enough to capitalize on multi-unit project opportunities.

Strong design skills and be comfortable in hand drafting 20/20 and AutoCAD to create floor plans, elevations and perspectives.

Experience and/or knowledge taking precise measurements, analyzing blueprints, doing takeoffs and converting into complete, accurate orders.

Preparing proposals and contracts, pricing, ordering, and checking acknowledgements;

Be detail oriented, accurate and well organized; excellent planning skills; excellent customer service and outstanding written and oral communication & presentation skills with upscale customer.

Bachelor’s degree/ CKD/ CBD/ interior design certification, up-to-date 20/20 (or equivalent) program proficiency; portfolio of kitchens, baths.
